My 11 Problems from Algebra 2 (yes I am an overachiever, thanks for noticing.)
Try solving them...I triple dog dare you! ;)
Easy:
1) Simplify
√125/5
2) Rewrite in standard form
y=100-15x
3) Solve using substitution
3x-5y=5
4x+2y=24
Medium:
4) Factor and solve for x
9x²+15x+6=0
5) Graph the system on a coordinate plane
y≥0
x≥0
x≤5
y<3+1/2x
6) Simplify
√-12/5
Hard:
7) Solve using elimination
3x-4y+z=13
2x+5y+2z=32
x-y+2z=15
8) Emily and her friend want to go see a matinee. They invited both of their families. Emily’s family has two adults and one child. Her friend’s family has two adults and three children. Both families need to figure out how much adult tickets cost and how much child tickets cost. Solve by graphing and check with elimination
x+2y=31.5
3x+2y=46.5
9) Solve the system using an inverse matrix
3x+4y=17
2x+10y=26
10) Graph the parabola and write the quadratic in standard form
y=3(x+7)²-5
Ridiculous:
11) Find the determinant of the matrix A
4 -6 2
A= 1 3 2
3 5 -4
