Final Project
While on the site of my internship, I was working with my mentors and helping them on individual projects as well as learning as much as I could from them. My internship was split into two parts; Know Your Dough and Kennebec Wealth Managment. When I was working with Know Your Dough, I was designing a website for the company. I learned a lot about the mechanics of Weebly, as well as Paypal and coding. Additionally, while working for Know Your Dough, I learned a lot about business and networking for self-employed companies.

The other part of my internship I was working with Caroline Chaplin and the investment advising company she is part of called Kennebec Wealth Management. For this portion of the internship, my project was focused a lot on spreadsheet creation. I made fund change request forms for Caroline which detailed specific companies investment plans, differentiated based on the aggressiveness of the investor. These preexisting forms were outdated and so I worked to update them based on the Morningstar ratings and matrix run which Caroline and Paul Gervais complete every 3 months for each investment portfolio. Another large project I had to complete for Kennebe Wealth Management was a spreadsheet that profiled target customers. However, these documents are confidential and unable to be shared on my digital portfolio.
The last part of my project that I exhibited was three mock investment portfolios that I created with the help of Caroline. These mock portfolios outlined the individuals aggressiveness and based on their level of aggressiveness, placed them into specific mutual funds. The portfolio gave detailed information on the types of funds and the longevity of the funds over time. Additionally, the portfolios gave additional information about investments and the investor styles that Kennebec Wealth Management work with. Below you will find the three mock portfolios as well as general investment information.
